Born 27 April 1880, in Vienna, in 1895 according to some sources; died 1974.

Painter, engraver. Figures, nudes.

Strasser was the son of Arthur Strasser. From 1911 to 1915, he studied under Rudolf Jettmar at the art academy in Vienna, and then under Angelo Jank at the art academy in Munich. Afterwards, he went to Holland. Whilst he was staying in Holland, he acquainted himself with sculpture and Balinese art in Indonesia. He went to Bali in 1920, where he met Willem Dooijewaard, with whom he worked and often travelled. In addition, Strasser travelled to Siam, Java, New Guinea, China, the Indies, the Americas, and the USA in 1952, where he settled for good....
