Painter. History painting, portraits, genre scenes, sporting subjects, landscapes.

Vittorio Corcos studied in Florence and then in Naples, where he was one of Domenico Morelli's best students. From 1880 to 1886 he lived in Paris, and painted many sporting subjects. Some of his works earned him the nickname of 'painter of pretty women'. He exhibited at the Salon in 1881. He also painted many portraits....
