Paul Cyfflé was a pupil of Jan van Hecke in Bruges and then of Barthélemy Guibal in Lunéville in 1746. After Guibal's death he was appointed an official sculptor to Stanislas, King of Poland. He worked in Nancy where he executed the fountain in the Place de l'Alliance. In ...
