Joost Droogsloot was a master in Utrecht in 1616, and a dean in 1623 and 1644. He married Angeniejte van Ryevelt in 1618. In 1620 he bought a house, which he arranged to pay off in twelve years, for 150 guilders' worth of paintings each year. In 1628 he donated a painting entitled ...
