Don Juan de Austria was the son of King Philip IV of Spain and Maria Calderón. He was viceroy of Aragon and minister to Charles II. Some experts claim that he studied under Jusepe Martinez, others that he was taught by Eugenio de las Cuevas. The national library in Madrid has an etching by him after Callot....
