Gojmir Anton Kos was a pupil at the academy of fine arts in Vienna from 1915 to 1919, and also trained in Zagreb and Berlin. From 1945 to 1961 he taught at the academy of Ljubljana. His work was initially strongly marked by Expressionism, then influenced by Cubist plastic construction which he applied to still-lifes, working in various materials....
