Robert Kent Thomas started out as a lithographer, then turned to etching. A number of his plates appeared in the Portfolio, a journal directed with great authority by the writer P.C. Hamerton, and Thomas soon found a place in the front rank of English etchers. He also exhibited a few paintings at the Royal Academy. He produced a large number of sketches....
