( b ?Liège, c 1708; d Bonn, June 17, 1782). German organist and composer . He was a son of Henri van den Eeden, a singer in the Liège court in 1695, and attended the choir school at the electoral court in Cologne in 1716. There he was appointed second organist with a salary of 150 gulden on 11 March 1723, but apparently lost the post soon after, though his name still appears in the court calendar of 1724. In 1727 he was reinstated as second organist, without salary until he applied for one in 1728. In 1741 he took part in the ‘Frankfurt Suite’ of Elector Clemens August....
